What to Expect
We meet every first day of the week as the New Testament Church did. We begin Bible study at 9 AM and we start our worship service at 10 AM. We also offer Bible study classes on Wednesday evenings beginning at 7 PM. We are a welcoming and loving church family and we sincerely want everyone to feel welcome in our congregation.
If it's your first time visiting with us, you might be wondering what to expect during worship, Bible study classes, or fellowship. Please read below to know exactly what to expect when you arrive. If you have specific questions you would like to ask us, please feel free to contact us through the Connect Card at the top of this page with any questions before you arrive and we'll be happy to provide answers.
AT WORSHIP
Welcome and Prayer - A welcome message is delivered and announcements are made. Then an opening prayer is given to help focus our minds for worship.
Congregational Singing - We sing songs and hymns of praise to God as a congregation in the a cappella style. It doesn't matter what we sound like here on earth; it's a sweet sound when it reaches our God.
The Lord's Supper - We gather as the early church did on every first day of the week to observe the Lord's Supper to remember Jesus' death on the cross, His burial, and His resurrection until He comes again.
Giving - Following the Lord's Supper, we give back a portion of the material blessings we have been blessed by God to be stewards over on this earth. We do this to allow us to continue our mission, outreach, and benevolence programs.
Preaching - We hear a message delivered from God's Word to build us up, to prepare us to face the sins and challenges of the world, and to help us to grow and mature in our faith. The Lord's invitation is offered after every sermon for anyone who wants to respond as we sing an invitation song.
Shepherd's Prayer - One of our elders leads the congregation in prayer over our TLC list (list of infirmed, home bound, etc).
AT BIBLE STUDY
Bible classes are available for all age groups from nursery to adult.
We have teachers who teach on a rotating quarterly basis to present lessons from God's Word.
We use this time to study so that we can grow closer to God, learn more about Him and what He wants for us, and to grow closer to one another, encouraging each other to mature as Christians.

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in Bible study.
AT FELLOWSHIP
We meet for fellowship periodically to spend time with one another, encouraging and building one another up in Christ. We often share meals together as a congregation; our Youth meets for game nights and devotions; our ladies meet periodically for Bible study; and we gather for special events such as Independence Day to spend time with those of like, precious faith. We believe we should all take the words of Paul in Romans 1:8-12 as an example of how and why to fellowship:
"First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed throughout the world. For God, whom I serve with my spirit by announcing the Gospel of His Son, is my witness that without ceasing I remember you always in my prayers, asking that by God's will I may somehow at last succeed in coming to you. For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you - or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine." - Romans 1:8-12
